......................................

For us its a very special year. The nursery was started by our great grandfather in 1860, this makes the nursery 150yrs old. The site has remained the same but the old greenhouses have long gone. Both Margaret and I remember those. They were wooden, very low and with very small panes of glass, a nightmare in a wind. Some of the old buildings remain, they are built of river stones and cement and have stood the test of time.

July to February opening times are
Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm  We are closed at weekends.
We shall be taking Seeds, onion sets and garlic to the garden Show at Kings Heath, Birmingham this weekend. Then to Harrogate Autumn and Malvern Autumn Show later in the month.

AVAILABLE NOW AT THE NURSERY.
The spring cabbage plants and over wintering lettuce plants are now available as are the autumn planting Onion Sets and Garlic. New season seed also available.
